Slalom gate hanging system

Pistures so some of the hardware  used. 

Each gate is hung from a load bearing 4mm Dyneema line across the stream.  The river left side has 3x4mm cord for tensioning the line. 

Pulleys on either end allow a loop of 4mm cord to control the position of the gate on the stream.

Stainless steel brackets hook the whole arrangement onto 5mm steel cables running parallel to the stream.  This allows positioning of the gate to be adjusted up and downstream. 

The gates are hung from pulleys to avoid friction and wear on the dyneema lines.
