Conservation

As a club we enjoy access to natural clean rivers and therefore support conservation of the environment. 

Local Rivers up for contention.

A few years ago a hydro scheme was planned on the Mokau, this was successfully challenged and the river is still a great white water paddle. 

We are currently focused on developing a long term plan for meetng of the waters site that includes biodiversity, safety and access for slalom.
